Low-income individuals and families are eligible to apply for a new or renewed credit on their electricity bill. Ask to speak to an in-house referral agent for assistance with your application.
Eligibility:
- Low income (income per household; based on size of household)
- Electricity bill must be under the name of the tenant/resident
- All applicable household members must have filed taxes at least once in
the last two years
- Must have a Social Insurance Number
What you will need to bring:
- Identification
- Electricity bill
- Social Insurance Number
- Notice of Assessment (from the last two years)
