A decorative and accent rug company is seeking a Sales Representative for their Tomken and Eglinton Road location. The employer is seeking someone that is energetic, honest and with a willingness to learn and grow with the company. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Answer customers' questions about products, prices and availability
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features and solicit orders
• Estimate or quote prices, contract terms and delivery dates
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs and attending trade shows and conferences
• Arrange and direct delivery of products

Qualifications:

• A background in design would be an asset
• Candidate must have a valid G license and clean drivers abstract
• Ability to sell to all levels of clientele, from discount stores to high-end interior decorators
• Ability to travel throughout Canada and possibly North America when required

Compensation: Base (minimum wage) plus commission
